Generative Drawing 'Working'
This was the first mixture attempt, it was oil and paint. However, during these test i didn't quite understand the right mix, which has been changed since. This test was also done on substrates which wasn't effective, they didn't emphasis the features.

Material:
Oil
Paint

Substrate:
Printer Paper
Art Paper
Canvas

Technique :
Strokes
Dots
Side Strokes
This mixture was a heavy oil base, with art paint and paprika, however it was still very unsuccessful due to the substrates. Once again, they lack the properties to emphasis the qualities of the materials.

Material:
Oil
Paint
Paprika

Substrate:
Printer Paper
Art Paper
Canvas

Technique :
Strokes
Dots
Rope Lines
This mixture was a traditional Lebanese seed mix, called Zatar. It is usually mixed with oil to eat, however in this case i added PVA to the paper and had different sprinkling techniques.

Materials:
Zatar

Substrate:
Printer Paper
Art Paper
Canvas
Glue (added ontop)

Technique :
Pinch and sprinkle
Brush
Cotton and dab
This was a style which I much rather, as i saw more unique effects happening.

Materials:
Paint

Substrate:
Water

Technique :
Spinning
Technique :
Strokes inside the water
This drawing was by far most effective, the reaction between oil and paint made unique designs which I couldn't replicate by hand.  The technique was also effective in giving a wide array of features.

Materials:
Paint
Oil (very oil heavy)

Substrate:
Water

Technique :
Spinning
To give the mixture a try, however very ineffective.

Materials:
Zatar

Substrate:
Water

Technique :
Sprinkling
Even with the change of technique, the material itself is uneffective.

Materials:
Zatar

Substrate:
Water

Technique :
Brush Spinning
The final technique with this material showed no further potential, thus I lead away from this material.

Materials:
Zatar

Substrate:
Water

Technique :
Brush tapping
This was further testing to ensure that I could get unique features and characteristics through my chosen material, substrate and technique.

The oil creates bubble effects became an fascinating point of interest, one which i largely focused on later in the assignment.
The paint looks best in many spread bits instead of large blobs.
Spinning a brush gave the best opportunity to spread the paint around, allowing not only for numerous effects but an equal distribution.

Aims:
To control speed of spin, focusing on less larger blobs.
To highlight reactions between water and oil.

The apparatus became very effective, it is shown here :

This showcases the drill I used, (or 2 of them in that one test which was very ineffective). Also displays how I used the drill bit hold for the brush.

Overall Reflection
This project allowed me to develop my own generative drawing with an apparatus. I believe there was many elements which were effective and some which could be expanded on.

The overall material was effective, it provided unique features, gave designs which were appealing and allowed me to create a apparatus. Paint and oil, with a 50/50 ratio was perfect.

The substrate of water is very effective with the material, almost like a perfect marriage. It created bubbles, splatters and swirls combining to give an appealing project. Within the project i experimented with the amount of water which had little effects, however a further idea would be to control the temperature.

The apparatus was perfect for my aims, however, I do think there was ways of improvement. I believe a large tray of water, with multiple drills in an open environment would be very interesting.

My change drawings complimented my work, especially with my aims, as it allowed me to emphasis particular elements (such as the bubbles) which were in my aims.
